I have just started my Phd studentship at the University of the West of England under the supervision of Dr. Benjamin De Lacy Costello and Prof. Andrew Adamatzky. I am going to study the behaviour of wave-fragments in the Belousov- Zhabotinsky reaction with the aim to exploit the rich dynamics of the excitation wave-fragments to perform computation. I am very excited and feel privileged to have this opportunity.
My research will focus on chemical laborartory experiments in Collision-Based Computing in Excitable Media, a project supported by the EPSRC (EP/E016839/1).
