I am a lecturer in Maths Supporting Science, in support of biosciences programmes. I also teach aspects of scientific method, protistology, applied microscopy and programming. Originally trained as a biomedical scientist in cellular pathology, I moved from NHS practice to specialise in bio-computing, bio-sensing, nanotechnology and future and emergent computation via PhD at UWE. I maintain cross-faculty collaboration with the Unconventional Computing Group in the Faculty of the Environment and Technology.
