Dr. Stefano Siccardi graduated in Maths at the Milan University (1979) and have been for many years a software developer in business and scientific areas. He worked in different fields, like e.g. data mining and data analysis (especially EKG and EEG data), Operating Systems and purely business areas like enterprise management software and websites.
In the first decade of the 2000s he became interested in the field of quantum computing, and got a PhD in Computer Science at the same university, with a dissertation on the entanglement in the Helium atom (2013).
Presently his research interests are both in unconventional computing and quantum computing, and in particular in the possible overlap of the two fields.
